Zimmerreise.org ist ein kollaboratives Unterfangen zwischen literarischem Experiment und anthropologischem Projekt. Die einzelnen Zimmerreisen verweben zu einer gemeinsamen Erzählung und bilden ein Archiv der Erfahrung von Mensch-Ding-Umwelten.
Auf der Webseite ist diese gemeinsame Erzählung als Metatext sichtbar. Die Struktur der Seite ermöglicht es, auch mit einzelnen Autor:innen „mitzureisen“. Das Projekt ist partizipativ und fortlaufend.
Es geht darum, sich die umgebende Dingumwelt bewusst zu machen, ihr aktiv zu begegnen. Zu beschreiben, was sie bedeutet und auslöst, und was sich verändert. Und dieses Verhältnis zur Umgebung, zur Innen- und zur Außenwelt, zu reflektieren, bewusstzumachen, festzuhalten und zu dokumentieren. Kurz: Hier zu sein und die Haltung eines Reisenden einzunehmen.

Zimmerreise.org is a collaborative venture between literary experiment and anthropological project. The individual room journeys interweave into a common narrative and form an archive of experience of human-thing environments.
This shared narrative is visible on the website as meta text. The structure of the site makes it possible to “travel along” with individual authors. The project is participative and ongoing.
It is about becoming aware of the surrounding world of things, to actively encounter it. To describe what it means, produces and sparks, and what changes. The task is to reflect, to make conscious, to record and to document this relationship to the environment, to the inner and outer world. In short: to be here and to become a traveler.
